The terms and conditions below, which set out the requirements and scope of the warranty, do not limit the statutory rights of end customers of our equipment in the event of a failure. Without prejudice to our warranty, end customers may invoke these rights free of charge.
In addition, we grant our end-customers a warranty on the equipment subject to the following conditions:
- Subject to the conditions set out below (paragraphs 2-8), we will repair defects in our equipment free of charge if they are proven to be the result of a defect in material and/or workmanship and are notified to us immediately after discovery and in any event within 24 months of delivery to the first user. If the defect becomes apparent within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed to be a defect in material or workmanship (see also the exceptions in paragraph 2).
- The warranty does not cover cracks caused by incorrect use. Minor deviations from the specified quality, which are not relevant to the value and use of the appliance, do not give rise to a warranty obligation. Damage or defects due to chemical and electrochemical effects of water and/or abnormal environmental conditions in general shall not give rise to any warranty obligations, nor shall damage resulting from improper conditions of use or from contact with improper substances. Furthermore, defects in the appliance caused by transport damage for which we are not responsible, incorrect installation and assembly for which we are not responsible, misuse, non-domestic use, negligence or failure to follow the instructions or installation instructions are not covered by the warranty. The warranty claim will be invalidated if repairs or other operations have been carried out by a person not authorised by us for this purpose or if spare parts or accessories which are not original parts have been installed in our equipment and if the repair or other operation carried out by a non-authorised person or the installation of a non-original part has caused the defect.
- Warranty service is provided by, at our discretion, either repairing the defective parts of the equipment or replacing them with non-defective components free of charge (repair). The replaced components become our property.
- If we refuse or, in our opinion, are unable to carry out the repair, a replacement will be supplied free of charge within the above warranty period. The replaced unit becomes our property.
- In order to claim your rights under this warranty, the end customer must notify our customer service department of any defects.
The End User may contact our Customer Service Department in the following ways:
- via the online form, see the website.
In addition, a warranty certificate, purchase receipt or other sales document showing the date of delivery or at least the date of purchase must be presented.
The end customer must make the appliance available to a service technician or repairer by being present or otherwise ensuring that the repair can be carried out at the place of installation.
The warranty covers only work and costs directly related to the repair or replacement of the appliance under normal conditions. If the appliance is installed or fixed in such a way that repair or replacement cannot be carried out without extensive additional work, such as dismantling of fixtures, trim or detailing, etc., we reserve the right to charge the end customer for the additional work, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
If the unit is geographically located in a place that cannot be reached without alternative means of transport such as a boat, snowmobile, helicopter or similar means of transport, the end customer may be asked to contribute to the performance of the warranty.
Such participation may, for example, consist of arranging and/or paying for such alternative transport and charges, possibly at the customer's own expense, or transporting the equipment to the agreed place, unless otherwise required by mandatory law. - The warranty period shall not be extended by any warranty payments and shall not be restarted by any warranty payments. The warranty period for installed spare parts shall expire simultaneously with the expiry of the warranty period for the entire appliance.
- The end customer shall not be entitled to make any additional claims or claims other than those mentioned above under this warranty.
- These warranty conditions apply to equipment purchased and used in Finland. If the equipment is delivered to and used in another EU/EFTA country ("country of destination") and the equipment meets the technical requirements of the country of destination (e.g. voltage, frequency, gas types, etc.) and is suitable for the corresponding environmental conditions, the warranty conditions of the country of destination will apply if we have a customer service network in that country. You can request these warranty conditions from your dealer in the country of destination. If the equipment is shipped outside the EU/EFTA, the warranty will be void.
